A Fond Farewell to Four Inspiring Educators

Today, our hearts are filled with a unique blend of pride and sadness as we say goodbye — though not permanently, but for an exciting new chapter — to four exceptional educators: Yar Deng Mayen, Akau Bior Alier, Mufas Yusuf Hassan and Abuol Malueth.

These four great pillars of St. Paul's Kakuma Secondary School are temporarily stepping away from our classrooms to pursue bachelor's degrees at universities in Canada and Rwanda, the Land of a Thousand Hills. Since joining our school, these two ladies and two gentlemen have been the epitome of dedication, innovation and unwavering support. In the classroom, they did not just teach — they ignited genuine curiosity and a love for learning in our students. Among the staff, they have been invaluable collaborators, supportive peers and constant sources of encouragement.
